From conception to completion, our entire team from estimating, design, project management and experienced shop floor staff make our clients’ needs a priority. We have experience in a wide variety of projects, refits & alterations, osmosis & rot, painting, complete fit-outs, in fact any thing to do with pleasure boating. We use both time-proven practices and cutting-edge techniques to make sure our customers’ projects get delivered with satisfaction.

Available covered shed space

Our covered-in shed can fit vessels to 65′ long and 25′ wide. Hard-stand is in a secured facility with capacity up to 80 tonnes.

Who we are

Cove Boatworks was established to fill a growing need for experienced boat builders and tradesmen at Marsden Cove hardstand and marina. We provide shipwrights and project management of all marine trades. We are located at the Marsden Cove hardstand facility and are setup to cater to all shapes of vessels from commercial boats to luxury yachts.

What We Do

Cove Boatworks has assembled an experienced and diverse team of shipwrights and boat builders and are able to service a wide range of vessels. We provide everything from modern vacuum infusion to traditional wooden boat building, plumbing to mechanical repairs. Our office team offer project management of vessels from small tenders to super yachts.

At Cove Boatworks we pride ourselves on our traditional boat building skills, such as  teak decking, custom wooden flooring & cabinet making.

Topsides &

Gel-coat and fibreglass repair  are a staple of boatyard work. After installing a new fibreglass panel to this bridge deck, new gelcoat was sprayed and blended to match the original

Below the water line

Specialist applicator for Propspeed.
For saturated timbers below the waterline, Cove Boatworks can dry out and then re-glass the hull ready for another 20 years on the water.

Making it happen

Our project management team can oversee all aspects of your project. On a leopard 51′ we had 6 teams working on over 13 separate  projects during the course of a month.
